Deleting some things helped for the .en files but now is slow on more things..#
Edit. its like the extraction freezes at places and the only thing to get it to go faster again is to pause it (which takes a few seconds to register that) and then unpause it.
Never had this problem with any other file before, so very confusing. Not a potato pc, my wallet could account for that xD
Edit. It might be the download itself as i cannot find the exe file anywhere

What Bob69 means is you DON'T unpack a jar file. They are assuming you are trying to do that... something you are not to do.

if you're like me and don't like questioning your sexuality I found a way to alter the game to replace all male related nouns and pronouns. Or at least most of them.
you will have to do the from scratch method if your jar is not version 0.3.52.1
this method only replaces the enounters.json file which is what holds the majority of all the text in the game however im sure there are other files that would need to be modified to completely replace all pronouns. This method gets like 99% of them so works for me.
i dont know why the devs dont do this it took me less than an hour surely it cant be that hard to create a system that replaces these words. oh well :\

It is good that you found a solution for the problem which can be used by others.
But is this game so powerfull that it can change someone sexuality? I like this gayest shit, but i am nowhere near to clap other mens ass, cause i love huge breasts.
But that IMHO, anyway.

Alright fellas, i got it.
Basically i didn't had a problem just with ToA but pretty much anything that needed Java. I didn't knew that until i tried another game that also used Java and it had the same issue. The thing is, i didn't think it was a Java issue because i could play a few other games that also used Java just fine. HOWEVER, one of them, aka Minecraft, pretty much just fucked up my whole Java by itself bc i needed to use different versions of Java on different versions of the game, so (i think) i had multiple instances of Java installed and it just wouldn't work. Long story short i deleted all the javas i had instaled and reinstalled just one, now the game is working just fine.
TL;DR = I hate java. Thx everyone that tried to help and sorry for the noob mistake :v
