Anonymous14(1): @Anonymous: Well the thing about Bats is that he’s essentially James Bond. Fancy dude, gets trapped a lot, sleeps around and sometimes has a thing for bad women that maybe he shouldn’t like Catwoman or Talia. He’s very much a power fantasy in his own way like Superman is to young boys who want to be able to fly and do whatever they want because they’re basically a god.
Anonymous15: @Anonymous: it's classic Princess and a Knight but with modern twist the Princess needs no help from the Knight infact she's stronger than the Knight, they're dope tbh.
Anonymous17(15): @Anonymous: lol no poor Nightwing Starfire is better for him same as Diana is better for him that's why fans support them simple as that...no one wants same old stuff especially when these characters have existed like for 70-80 years!
Anonymous19: The problem is Bruce Timm's often weird ass fantasies. Which is the reason for the Batgirl shit. Wonder Woman being a BatSimp is just a bit odd to some. Agree to disagree.
Anonymous20(19): @Anonymous: Nothing wrong with changing things up, but Timm's way is just weird. No one wants BatmanXBatgirl, simple as that. Starfire isn't even in the DCAU.
Anonymous21: This is quoted from someone else, but I'm using it because it's true
The pairing always felt like it was trying to build up Batman while diminishing Wonder Woman. Too many writers take this tactic when building up characters (particularly Batman).
In JLU Wondy was acting like a horny teenager towards Bats (running theme with Timm since that's also how he made Babs act in TKJ). Totally out of character for her. Diana is a strong enough personality to act mature in every circumstance, not be some stupid flirty girl. Bruce Timm's brain just seems to shut off when it comes to Batman in possible sexual situations and it goes into author-insert power fantasy mode.
Anonymous22: @Anonymous: not just JLU it happened frequently early 90s-2000s Batman/Superman Generations (John Byrne), JLA (Morrisons) , Blackest Night - Aphrodite literally said Bruce as Diana's one true love and that broke the spell and she became star sapphire..it's in comics too comics is confusing...
